The TRANSITIONS Modular Entry Ramps are a series of graduated ramps that can be mixed and matched to specifically accommodate your entryway. Each ramp can lock securely into another, enhancing structural integrity as sections are added and maintaining its 700-pound weight capacity. An additional pivoting flap provides another quarter-inch of adjustability if needed. These sections are simple to add and remove and require no permanent welding together, meaning you can alter your ramps height as often as needed; the lightweight aluminum construction is easy to transport so you can take the ramp with you wherever you go.

Extruded ribbing along the surface of the ramp provides multi-directional traction designed to prevent slipping; for added stability, pre-drilled installation holes and the necessary hardware are included with the ramp for semi-permanent installations. The lightweight aluminum ramp is entirely self-contained (when not semi-permanently installed) and is entirely corrosion-resistant; even when set up outside where it will be exposed to varying weather and differing climates, this ramp will stand up to years of heavy use.

My door threshold is 3.5 inches high. Should I order a 3 inch or 4 inch ramp?

Answer: Because this is in between sizes, consider purchasing a TRANSITIONS Angled Entry Ramp, which is also made of aluminum and has adjustable feet to meet your threshold rise requirements.

How do I keep the ramp from moving around?

Answer: Pre-drilled holes are available for anchoring at both the top and bottom of the ramp. Anchoring hardware is not provided.

Does the ramp butt up to the opening or is there a lip that sits on top of the door track?

Answer: The ramp can do either or. There is a top pivoting flap that provides an additional .25” of adjustability and can be slid in or kept out. If in, the ramp would be set against the door threshold and the flap would rest on top of it. If the flap is kept out, the ramp would butt up against the door threshold and wouldn’t interfere with door styles such as a sliding glass door with a track.

Does this product require assembly?

Answer: Yes, the sections slide together and are secured in place by provided screws.
