The TRANSITIONS Angled Entry Wheelchair Ramp provides a gradual slope access to raised threshold and doorways for those utilizing wheeled mobility aids. Two independently height-adjustable feet accommodate a variety of raised doorways, while the swivel pads adjust to account for uneven ground. Both feet detach independently if needed as well. The end of the ramp is outfitted with a self-adjusting transition plate to ensure that the change between ground and ramp is smooth and even. The surface of the ramp features extruded ribbing designed to enhance traction in both directions to prevent accidental slipping

The lightweight aluminum construction wont corrode or rust, even if installed outdoors where it is exposed to unfavorable weather. The durable metal will last for years to come and requires no permanent alterations; however, pre-drilled holes and included necessary hardware make it easy to secure the ramp to the floor for an added layer of security. Rubber can also be attached to the bottom to protect the floor from potential scratching and increase shear between the ramp and floor.

The length has thankfully solved problem of wheel chair tipping backwards on our former shorter threshold. ramps. And the new ramp easily adjusted to correct height.
The one negative effect is the arm reach forward length needed to open and close door makes the task difficult. Any design suggestions?
