It helps promote relaxation while also providing some exercise. Some assembly may be required, as well as 2-3 weeks' lead time from the manufacturer. The vestibular motion of the TherAdapt® Wheelchair Platform Rockers may help to stimulate brain chemistry; while the rhythmic motion helps to prevent skin breakdown by shifting body weight and position. Three versions are available to suit users with different specific needs and goals.

The Challenge Platform Rocker has a more circular arc, meaning that more effort is required to create the rocking motion. It can be used by individuals who wish to challenge their balance or by people seeking a challenging exercise workout.

The Easy Platform Rocker has a flatter curve, which means that little effort is required to get it to rock. This rocker is ideal for use by the geriatric population and individuals who have sensory or balance deficits, as well as anyone else looking for the calming sensory effects of gentle rocking.
