If I was going to buy this Giraffe Bottle, should I get a bottle with a longer neck or a shorter neck?

Answer: The general rule of thumb is to keep the neck of the bottle as short as necessary. The length of the neck is relevant to the level of suction necessary for the drink for come from the bottle to the mouth of the tube. However, certain circumstances may vary, so longer necks may be preferable in certain situations.

Can I run the bottles or components through a dishwasher?

Answer: The plastic bottle and the lids are dishwasher safe. But the stainless steel portions are hand - washed as a general rule to prevent water from damaging the bottle.

The neck assembly looks difficult to clean. How do I clean it?

Answer: The neck assembly houses the drinking tube itself, so it doesn't need to be cleaned as well as the other portions of the bottle. All you'll need to do is wipe the ends of the neck assembly with a damp cloth to properly clean it. It is not recommended that you submerge the neck assembly in water or soak it to clean it. If the neck assembly is washed in this way it will need an extended period of time to dry.
