More Information

Optima's commitment to quality, durability, and ingenuity makes them a great choice for healthcare seating. To ease tension and anxiety, the Thera-Glide Auto Locking Glider Chair provides a relaxing gliding motion. At the same time, the patented automatic locking system prevents the risk of falls. The chair remains stationary until users are safely seated, then its lock automatically releases to allow for a smooth, gliding motion. For a steady and safe egress, the chair locks automatically to prevent unintentional movement. This chair has a strong and durable inner structure made of steel; it's comfortably upholstered with Silvertex antimicrobial vinyl for ultimate user accommodation.

With adjustable seat height, this chair can adapt to a variety of different body types. The automatic infinite locking system secures the chair at exactly the best angle for a person's safe exit. Lateral stabilizers are added for extra stability. The Thera-Glide Glider Chair features a lock-out lever (located at the back) that ceases the gliding motion to create a stationary chair. The chair can also be locked in an angled position to fashion a wedge seat in order to effectively manage sliding and slumping. This is an ideal choice for hospice care, nursing homes, assisted care facilities, or at-home use.
