3 Keys
|
The 3 Keys accessory adapts the Arcana keyboard to 3 keys instead of the standard 5 keys; the keys also have a larger surface area for easier accessibility. This simplifies learning and playing the Arcana Strum Instrument as it limits the note range and reduces the number of octaves from 3 to 1.5. Additionally, the 3 Keys consist of only 7 chords instead of the 25 chords that are available with the standard 5 keys. |

"The ARCANA musical program is a new musical environment that enables our students to try and play musical instruments adapted to their disability, with an emphasis upon independence, responsibility, abilities, and success. The program is now being implemented in the school for the second year, led by Boaz Reinschreiber and it is enabling our students with motor physical disabilities to use instruments that develop their musical skills. This project has been a great success among our students and empowers them greatly. We consider these instruments to be tools to develop future skills and talents and an expansion of knowledge. In addition, the study of music in a group situation works towards positive mutual dependence within the group, taking responsibility and giving an equal opportunity for success. The importance of the group in this program requires the participants to be emotionally involved and requires active participation, which leads to the study of self-development and self-value, as well as to value of one's colleagues.
