The Super Sling Plus Universal is designed to protect the user's arm, elbow, or shoulder as well offering an optional removable contoured positioning pillow that can provide 10 degrees to 15 degrees of abduction from a neutral position.
Also included to enhance post-operative or post-injury rehabilitation exercise therapy is a tag-along foam exercise ball connected to the sling that allows the user to continue with physician-ordered hand and forearm exercises. The large envelope-style sling pouch will allow the user to also exercise his forearm without having to remove the entire brace.
The pouch itself, as well as the positional shoulder pad, is constructed with moisture-wicking material to provide cool comfort to the user. A thumb loop helps the user to maintain his hand in a neutral position while reducing pouch migration and a de-rotation strap helps to prevent internal rotation by securely holding the user's arm in a neutral position.
The latex-free sling is very adjustable with hook closure material fastening anywhere on the strap, allowing the length of the pouch height to be easily adjusted, and the sling pouch also folds outward where a hook and loop closure will secure excess material, allowing the pouch length to be customized without trimming. Special Y-design hook tabs also allow both straps to be fastened or trimmed to the desired length.
A quick-release buckle on the waist strap allows an easy application and removal of the sling.
