Accessories for Rifton Adaptive Tricycles

Tray
The trays for the Rifton Tricycle allows for close up to interactive objects as well as a platform to place a communication device. The clear, plastic tray is easy to wipe clean. The small tray measures 8.5" x 12" and the large tray measures 11.5" x 12.5".

Abductors
The abductors come in three sizes to fit any need and user. The medium and large abductors are height adjustable with a button. The abductors are easy to install onto the tricycle and require no tools.

Headrests
Three headrest options are available depending on the level of support needed. The flat headrest measures 9" x 5" and provides head support back and forth, but is for users that have more lateral control. The contoured headrest curves around the back of the user's neck and head to provide more stability. The contoured headrest measures 9" x 5". The winged headrest provides the most support with wings that cradle and provides lateral stability. The winged headrest measures 16" x 5". No tools are needed to attach any of the headrests. The headrests can adjust front to back and are height adjustable.

Rear Steering Bar
The rear steering bar allows a caregiver or parent to guide the Rifton tricycle from behind the user, providing more safety for users that have difficulty steering. The R123 model fits small and medium sized tricycles and the R143 model fits large sized tricycles.

Trunk Support System
The trunk support system helps to steady users that have less coordination and balance. The trunk support system comes with a padded backrest, butterfly harness, and two independent lateral supports. The trunk support system measures 14" W x 15.5" H. The trunk support system requires the backrest tube with handle when buying for an existing Rifton tricycle.

Front Guide Bar
The front guide bar attaches to the handlebar of the tricycle to allow parents and caregivers to guide the bike. Being in front of the user can help to provide a calming presence, particularly for those new to riding the tricycle.

Front Pulley
The front pulley cans to keep the pedals level for users that force the front of the pedal down.

Backrest Pad
