The Squid System for the Wrist combines the powers of both cold therapy and compression therapy into one comprehensive solution to joint and muscle pain. Cold therapy (also known as cryotherapy) is known for improving circulation, boosting immune system activity, and relieving aches and pains associated with tense muscles and sore joints, while compression oxygenates tissue and directs swelling/edema away from the wrist and back towards the heart, both of which speed the healing process.

The Squid wrist wrap is wide enough to cover the entire wrist without hindering movement of the hand or immobilizing the joint. The thumb hole ensures complete range of motion for the thumb and the open-hand design ensures the fingers can move freely. The proprietary gel formula in the freezable gel pack ensures mess-free cold therapy that is longer-lasting and deeper-penetrating than ice. The anti-bacterial wraps and gel packs wipe down easily for hassle-free sanitation between uses.

The Squid System for the Wrist utilizes the small, portable Squid Pump that intermittently inflates air bladders within the wrap to provide the compression therapy. Three simple buttons control on/off, start/stop, and switch between the four different compression modes. Each mode has its own unique pattern of peak pressure and inflation/deflation cycles. The pump is capable of up to 50 sessions on one full charge, and recharges quickly to ensure it is always ready for use.

Users can purchase a full unit of the Squid system (includes Squid Pump, gel pack, and wrist wrap) or a full unit of the SquidGo System (includes SquidGo Pump, SquidGo gel pack, and SquidGo wrist wrap). SquidGo is a smaller device that supports only 15 uses per charge but still offers all 4 compression levels; this secondary model is designed for in-home use only.

Users can also choose to purchase wraps or gel packs individually (without the Squid Pump) or as a bundle (including one wrap and one gel pack, also without the Squid Pump).
