Special Tomato Multi-Positioning Seating (MPS) System with Mobile Base - Small

The Special Tomato Small MPS System with Mobile Base provides a supportive, comfortable special needs seating system that is versatile and mobile, with the seat fitting securely into its specialized mobile base or into nearly any chair or seat, including dining chairs, strollers, and aircraft seats. This seat system is available with a variety of support options including multiple seat, back and head cushions, for individualized adjustment that allows this system to grow with your child for years to come.

The convenient mobile floor base is constructed with a bent wood design that is both modern and stylish to fit in with any taste or decor. It includes four swivel casters with two rear locking casters for easy mobility when you want it and firm support when you dont. Casters allow this seating system to be moved and locked in place with ease either by a helper or by your child if they are able. The seamless, latex-free cushions are impermeable to fluids and soft, yet durable even through years of frequent use. The unique MPS seating material prevents peeling or tearing and also repels liquids to prevent staining and odor. The surface is cool and smooth, reducing the possibility of skin sticking to the cushions, while the soft-to-the-touch inner core is made up of a specially formulated foam that allows for children to sit comfortably for longer periods of time.


Included with the Special Tomato® MPS Seating System is Hip-Flex® adjustment that provides 30 degrees of pivot. This provides the proper alignment of your child's pelvis while using this comfortable and accommodating seating system. Additionally, the base enables 10-25 degrees of tilt space to conform to any positioning needs your child may have. Increased tilt and flex provided in this system enables more natural, comfortable positioning while also supporting proper posture and reducing discomfort over time. This system also includes a footrest that is height, angle and depth adjustable for even more custom comfort.
