This treatment table has a top that is divided into six sections: the headrest, pair of armrests, the thoracic section, the lumbar section, the foot section, and a machine stand. The headrest features a contoured face and nose opening for prone patient comfort. It can be lowered out of the way to 90 degrees and raised to 45 degrees for a slight angle. The thoracic section is the stable central section and is not adjustable. The lumbar section can separate up to 5 and is rollable along four friction-free ball bearings. It can be locked into the desired position with its positive gear rack system. The foot section can be raised 80 degrees to provide a comfortable and convenient backrest for seated, upright patients.
The Armedica AM-SP 450 features individual steel frames for each top section, while the pivoting joints all house hardened steel shoulder bolts with locking nuts for a 500 lb lifting capacity and trustworthy stability and table operation for years to come. Each top section is padded with 1.5 inch thick firm-density foam and upholstered with 34 oz heavy duty vinyl treated with Permablok 3 coating to minimize germ count and maximize durability. Seamless, radiused corners on the upholstered components reduce patient discomfort during long treatment sessions. One-step caster system keeps table stationary when you want it to be, but allows it to be easily moved when you need it to be mobile.
A base with 4 Total Lock Swivel Casters can be added for additional table mobility. Also available are a set of two upholstered side rails for increased patient security within the borders of the table.
