More Information

The Small Clinic Splinting Material Pack B comprises four thermoplastic sheets of different sizes, thicknesses, and splinting materials to facilitate a customized splinting experience. The latex-free sheets become soft and pliable when heated in warm water, after which theyre applied and formed around the injured area for a perfect and customized fit.

The splinting material can be used on fingers, wrists, arms, lower legs, and ankles to provide partial or total immobilization to help protect sprains and fractures. A positive aspect of thermoplastic material is if the injured area changes size due to decreased swelling, the splint can be removed, reheated, and contoured to the area to provide a new customized fit.

These waterproof splinting sheets have options that include a solid sheet to provide for a stronger splint, while the other sheets have variously-sized perforations to offer airflow and breathability.
