The Sized Sling and Swathe Immobilizer are designed to immobilize a shoulder or arm to help ease some pain associated with the movement of the shoulder or elbow joints and surrounding muscles.
The sling can be used individually if desired or can be used together with the swathe to comfortably secure the arm snugly against the user's body, preventing any swinging movement of the arm while ambulating or pivoting.
The sling and swathe are constructed with a tri-layer design consisting of a durable outer-layer, a latex-free foam core for comfort and protection, and soft inner lining. Two straps fit from the top of the sling, over both shoulders and around the back, and then back on the sling to be attached anywhere using Velcro-style hook and loop material. Hook-and-loop closure material on the swathe offers an easy application, adjusting, and securing the arm for a snug and safe fit.
The latex-free sling and swath can fit both the left and right arm equally well, is available in sizes of X-small, small, medium, large, X-large, and XX-large, and can be purchased as a single or in a case of five.
