The Sharpstar Container with Sliding Lid is a sharps container specially designed to provide infection control safety regarding the clinical waste output of infectious piercing instruments as well as non-traditional businesses such as tattoo parlors and piercing shops.
The large 12-gallon volume red container has a sliding lid that can easily be closed temporarily when the container is not being used and can be permanently locked once it is filled and ready for correct environmental disposal.
The goal of using the sharps container is to help reduce or eliminate diseases and infections such as hepatitis, HIV, and other blood-borne infections caused by accidental piercing wounds to medical and non-medical individuals.
