The Secure-All Finger Control Mitt is a patient restraining device that covers the user's hands to prevent behaviors such as grabbing at medical devices, feeding or IV tubing, staff clothing or hair, undoing other limb restraints, and restrain the user from scratching and gouging himself or others.
The control mitt's design provides both comfort and safety with the construction of silklin and fiberfill material to help cushion any possible harm or discomfort while also allowing cool air circulation for added user comfort. The mesh top also allows the medical or psychological staff to view the patient's fingers.
The mitt has a hook and loop closure to ensure a secure fit on the user's wrist and the latex-free construction helps to avoid any potential allergic reactions. The mitt can be added to a restraining belt to ensure limb positioning during surgery or while in a psychiatric setting to help limit limb movement during a timeout in restraints.
The control mitt comes in an economical package of six mitts.
