Depends on the Size of the Hand
This is a great concept, but only if the patients hand is average adult size, and the arm is relatively slender. On a patient with a wide forearm that tapers to a more slender wrist the mit tends to slip down. I recommend using it in conjunction with regular wrist restraints. Also be aware that it is almost impossible to make a patient flatten his hand and spread his fingers. If youre dealing with someone who clenches his fists I suggest a product padded on both sides.
