The Hardwood Sanding Blocks for Upper Extremity Exercise Therapy provide a simple yet effective tool for regaining hand and arm strength following injury or surgery. Patients can use one of three block sizes to with or without sandpaper to practice dexterity techniques including proper range of motion and application of force in preparation for return to physical work.

As a therapist, you can select the combination and sequence of blocks to be used to address each patients individual needs. Sandpaper is not required! This is a simple piece of therapy equipment that can help meet very specific therapeutic goals, including the ability to successfully isolate movement.

The smallest of these hardwood blocks is designed to fit in a cupped hand, while the largest requires two hands, giving patients the opportunity to simulate various work-related motions and strengthen different muscle groups.
