The Hausmann Lift & Place Rack Station is a work hardening device designed to help patients recover their previous work performance skills particular to their jobs following an injury or long-term illness.
The lift & place rack station assists occupational or physical therapy patients with practice lifting and loading tasks such as lifting/loading various weighted boxes to help test the patient's functional capacity for future material handling activities.
The 169-pound, 30" wide by 18" deep by 78" high station has adjustable oak, high-pressure laminated shelves with 3mm PVC high-impact edging to provide greater durability. The shelves are height adjustable with space between the shelves ranging between 22" to 59". The changing of the shelving height can increase or decrease the task difficulty to best match the patient's capability. Each shelf has a weight capacity of 100-pounds and two of the shelves 'lock' into side-mounted rails for added safety.
For safety purposes, the lift and rack station must be secured to a wall.
