The Rolyan Thumb Hole Wrist Cock-Up Splint can assist medical professionals to support and protect patients with helping to ease pain and stiffness from a variety of wrist ailments or injuries that include rheumatoid arthritis, tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist sprains, strains, or broken bones, as well supporting a weakened wrist after cast removal, or to help to control wrist drop.
The thermoplastic material construction allows the splint to be custom shaped with a heat gun or by immersing the splint in hot water, then placed and molded on and around the patient's wrist. The designed thumb hole cut-out on the splint allows the spint to be molded around the thumb for a perfect fit.
The latex free splint can be used for dynamic splinting to help decrease pain as well as to help correct deformity. Sold as a package of three, splinting instructions are included. Available in several styles of material, and in either beige or white.
Invert the pre-cut form for right or left hand application, unless splint is offered in a "right" and a "left"' version.
