Reusable Gel Hot & Cold Pack

The Reusable Hot/Cold Pac is a reusable hot and cold pack designed to help alleviate inflammation and pain from sore or injured joints or muscles.

The safe, non-toxic compress makes an ideal compressive ice pack when used with an elastic bandage to provide cryotherapy to a specific area on the body. The blue gel center within the transparent pack will not freeze solid, but instead will remain pliable while frozen. This allows the cold pack to be placed comfortably and securely on any curved area of the body.

Cold therapy is often used for an immediate application to an injury to help reduce swelling, muscle spasms, pain, and tissue damage by constricting the blood vessels and reducing blood flow to the injury. This helps to reduce the amount of pooling blood and fluid around the injury, thereby minimizing swelling and bruising. Once the cold pack is removed, the veins will dilate and bring the blood rushing back into the area with the necessary healing nutrients.

The pac can be safely heated in a pan of hot water or in a microwave to provide heat therapy to help alleviate pain and inflammation. This is done by opening up blood vessels to enhance blood flow, oxygen, and nutrients to the injured area. Heat therapy can also be used to assist users with bursitis, fibromyalgia, myalgia, and contractures.

The hot/cold pack is designed with materials that are non-toxic, non-caustic, biodegradable, and latex free.
