The ThermaZone orthopedic Back, Abdomen, Hip Pad is a reusable pad that provides heating and cooling therapy to the lower back and can additionally be used on the abdomen and hip areas. Unlike traditional thermal therapy solutions, the ThermaZone pad system only requires 2 oz of distilled water to operate and does not exemplify issues that occur in them such as inconsistent temperatures, condensation, and extreme temperatures. These pads are made from soft neoprene material and are sealed with a soft neoprene material with a binding edge for added quality. Internally, the pads feature water delivery systems that are welding directly into the Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). The water delivery system is intelligibly laid out to ensure equal temperature control throughout the pad. The channels are low profile which helps make the pad comfortable and lightweight for use. This back pad fits up to a 54-inch waist, but an optional extender may be purchased for individuals who need a bit more room.
Cleaning:
- Power down unit and disconnect therapy pad from the machine.
- Pad should be cleaned with a neutral disinfectant wipe, mild detergent, or soap-water. Pads may be rinsed with warm tap water and dried with a clean lint-free cloth.
- Do NOT use ANY chemical cleaning agents, degreasing agents, or alcohol-containing products. Do NOT machine wash or dry. Do NOT place pads in the autoclave or try to sterilize.
Storage and Disposal:
Always unplug after use and when not in use.
Store in a dry, cool, clean space.
Avoid extended sunlight and high heat exposure.
After use ensure that caps are placed on ends of blue tubes.
