Each Jay Fusion Wheelchair Cushion Cover from Sunrise Medical comes with an innovative cover construction for added convenience and protection. This cover is designed as a replacement cover for the Jay Fushion Wheelchair Cushion systems.
Each cushion cover has a durable top to allow for proper immersion and help avoid pressure resulting from surface tension. This layer is made from natural anti-microbial, silver-impregnated Ionic+ fibers and a layer of 3DX spacer mesh to promote a breathable and flexible cover safe for machine washing, skin protection, and maximum airflow. This layer also has ballistic nylon sides strong seams for additional durability against minor impact and a handle for easy cushion removal.
The inner layer, unlike the outer layer, is designed to be solid and water-resistant to protect the foam padding that is underneath both layers. It is constructed with Dartex-coated Lycra spandex material for an impervious and smooth anti-wet surface. It is held together by anti-wicking seam treading and closes around the foam pad with an Aquaguard zipper. This ridged construction ensures the foam padding is kept secured while providing additional protection to keep it dry. You can also insert a Jay Solid Seat Insert here for extra stability and firmness for the cushion build. All the material also allows the inner cover layer to be easily cleaned.
When put together as a complete cushion, these covers have a zipper flap and waterfall seams, providing enhanced comfort and a clean look. A QR code is also included on the label for quick access to the manufacturer's webpage.
