More Information

The Regency 525 Wheelchair from Gendron is designed to ensure optimal comfort for the patient without sacrificing functionality. The back of the chair is 18 inches high and made from an easy-to-clean nylon that has just enough give to conform slightly to each individual user for 0more comfortable, supportive positioning.

Chair options include a 15.5-inch and a 17.5-inch seat-to-floor height to suit shorter and taller patients alike. The depth of the seat is 20 inches across all models, but patients can choose their seat width from 24, 26, 28, and 30 inches, ensuring the seat is roomy and non-constraining. All models are built to last with a weight capacity of 525 pounds.

The armrests of the chair can be full-length or desk-length and are thickly padded to provide comfortable support for elbows and forearms, as well as provide a secure handhold for patients to use when getting in and out of the chair. To further ease these transitions, the footrests of the chair independently swing out of the way to reduce the risk of tripping.

Push-to-lock wheel locks ensure the chair remains immobile for transitions in and out of the chair and for stationary activities in the chair. The entire frame folds in half to store more compactly and make it easier to transport in a car.
