The Hausmann Push-Pull Sled Station is a work hardening occupational therapy device that copies and stimulates the pushing and pulling work tasks of a worker's job environment. This type of rehabilitation therapy is used to help the client recover his work performance skill using specific physical movements to ensure that the client can safely go back to work.
The 23" wide by 40" long by 46" tall push-pull sled is constructed with strong and durable oak laminate material and has ergonomically correct grip handles on each end of the sled at three different height levels to provide the optimal therapeutic experience. The sled slides on self-lubrication polyethylene sled runners that are not designed to be used on carpeting.
Inside the sled are four removable weight pins with locking collars to provide extra weight discs to help increase the clients working capacity with a goal to attain the same strength and flexibility needed to safely return to work.
