More Information

This Cordless Professional Electrostatic Backpack Sprayer is an essential tool for every single public location in the United States of America as well as the world that hopes to protect the health of its visitors. As the country begins to open back up, these sprayers are more important than ever to be regularly used to protect the population from contracting diseases in public.

Full 360 Degree Coverage
These cordless electrostatic backpack sprayers are able to cover up to 21,500 square feet on a single tank of fluid with an effective range of 9-20 feet with the fan on and 3-6 feet with the fan off. These sprayers are designed to save time and labor, spray less liquid, and cover more surfaces through its electrostatic functions. The sprayers are able to spray disinfectant completely around the surfaces they come in contact with to ensure full disinfection allowing you to sanitize much faster than typical sprayers/foggers/misters. This process occurs through charging liquids as they pass through the nozzle which causes the charged droplets to repel from each other thus coating and sticking to environmental surfaces evenly. This sprayer is cordless and runs off a 24V 20 AH lithium core battery that gives the sprayer a 3.5 hour working time coupled with 90-minute charging time.

Factory testing is performed on each unit prior to shipment:
  • Each ES790 electrostatic sprayer unit is individually tested by a Quality Assurance Technician at the factory, so do not be alarmed at small traces of water condensation which may be visible in the holding tank at the time you receive and open your ES790 Sprayer.

How to avoid a Static Shock and why Electrostatic Sprayers generate static electricity:
  • Electrostatic Sprayers work by producing or activating an electrostatic charge to the water ion (ie: the disinfectant solution has water in it). An ion is a charged atom or molecule.
  • The Electrostatic Sprayer is doing what it is designed to do when it activates water ions with a positive static charge.
  • If you feel a mild electrostatic shock upon activating your nozzle, this is normal and it is not harmful.
  • To prevent the user from feeling a mild static discharge (which is normal and harmless, like touching a door knob in winter), wear gloves (rubber, latex, vinyl) when using the sprayer.
  • The factory engineers have been consulted, and these electrostatic sprayers are operating normally.
  • The Science: Most electrostatic sprayers generate positively charged particles, because most surfaces are negatively charged. The theory is that the positively charged particles will stick to most surfaces that are negatively charged. (As a side note, the earths surface is negatively charged.) Electrostatic sprayers are designed to generate positively charged ion-mist particles. These particles then repel each other and have a better chance to stick to something else. This is the law of opposite attraction.

Is it normal to feel a static shock when using the ES790 Electrostatic Sprayer?
Answer: Yes, if you are not wearing gloves you may feel a static shock periodically. The factory engineers of the ES790 Blast Pro ES Sprayers have been consulted; this is normal and the static shock is not harmful. If the user finds this sensation irritating, you can prevent the static electricity generated by the machine from reaching the user's skin by having them wear the factory-recommended gloves.

Here are some key points to remember:
    1) Electrostatic Sprayers work by producing or activating an electrostatic charge to the water ion (ie: the disinfectant solution has water in it). An ion is a charged atom or molecule. The Electrostatic Sprayer is doing what it is designed to do when it activates water ions with a positive static charge.
    2) If you feel a mild electrostatic shock upon activating your nozzle, this is normal and it is not harmful.
To prevent the user from feeling a mild static discharge (which is normal and harmless, like touching a doorknob in winter), wear gloves (rubber, latex, vinyl) when using the sprayer.

The Science Behind Electrostatics: Most electrostatic sprayers generate positively charged particles because most surfaces are negatively charged. It works because positively charged particles will stick to most surfaces that are negatively charged. (As a side note, the earth’s surface is negatively charged.) Electrostatic sprayers are designed to generate positively charged ion-mist particles. These particles then repel each other and have a better chance to stick to something else. This is the law of opposite attraction!
What kind of cleaning solution is best used with this machine? Can you use store bought cleaning solutions or diluted bleach?
Answer: There are no recommended products to use, as this electrostatic sprayer can be used with any type of solution or disinfectant. It can accommodate store-bought disinfectants that are already pre-mixed or you can create a diluted bleach solution (as you mentioned in your question) - truly, you can use whichever cleaning solution or disinfectant that best fits your needs and preferences, and the choice is totally up to your personal discretion.
