The Premium Toilet Seat Riser with Removable Arms adds an additional 3.5-inches of height for the intention and ease of safer rising and resting from your lavatory. The robust blow-mold plastic is lightweight and able to withstand 300-pounds of applied weight and pressure. Rubber padded grips have been added to the handles for stability and a stronger grip even if your hands are wet.

The zero tool assembly comes with 6-inch bolts, washers, and butterfly nuts that allow this restroom aid to be installed by hand after your original toilet seat has been removed. The width of the hinge section in the back that installs to the toilet bowl is 5.5-inches. This is designed to fit most common toilets that are a standard shape or elongated in shape. The removable arms can be put in place and taken out swiftly for the transfer of individuals in wheelchairs. You can also use a single handrail if your toilet is close to an existing wall or counter.

To clean this beneficial contraption, all you need is a non-abrasive detergent or household cleaner, warm water, and a cloth. There is a limited lifetime warranty.

What material are the nuts and bolts provided?

Upon checking, I was honestly unsure of the answer to your question so I reached out directly to the manufacturer for more insight. According to them:

"I'm afraid we do not have the material information, please note that it is not for a wet location."

I read the instructions but don't understand how the seat is secure to the toilet. Do you use really long screws that go through both your original toilet seat and this raised one? If so, once you have the seats screwed onto the toilet, do the seats still move around?

The seat is adjustable and it attaches to the toilet seat with adjustable bars.

Are long screws provided to attach the seat and lid after the riser is attached to toilet base?

Needs 4 large extra washers for install but beyond that a very straight forward and solid seat.

Picture shows lid--but there is no lid. Picture and measurements said it would fit my toilet, but the actual toilet seat is smaller and is too short, but Ive made it work. The arms are nice, but not as tight-fitting as I would have thought. They do wobble slightly. Does help my spouse (with severe Alzheimers) sit on the toilet and get up without much help.
