The Portable Adjustable Hip Spica Chair is designed to promote hip abduction and accommodate a variety of different Spica casts in children from approximately 8-months to 3-years; the saddle-like seat keeps the legs separated while seated which in turn helps keep the hips immobile. The durable wooden frame can support up to 55-pounds and features slightly angled legs for added structural integrity, while the five-point harness helps keep your child securely in the chair at all times. The entire chair disassembles quickly and easily, ensuring it takes up minimal storage space when not in use and also making it conveniently portable so you can take it with you no matter where you go.

A variety of components are adjustable, allowing you to customize the chair to suit your child and their cast, if applicable. The height, depth, and angle of the seat can all be adjusted to suit the height and cast of your child; the tilt of the seat and backrest together can also be altered to affect a slight recline. The backrest can be raised and lowered to accommodate torso height; the armrests are also height-adjustable to enhance your child's comfort and also raise or lower the quick-release tray as needed.
