The Pediatric PAL Classroom Seat for Improved Stabilization is the perfect addition to any classroom, playroom, clinic, or therapy facility. A range of optional components and accessories are available to allow the PAL seat to be fully customized to each child, best accommodating mild to moderate postural concerns. Upper body support is customized with adjustable backrest and armrests, while a tray or table can be added for improved posterior and anterior support. Pelvic stability is ensured through a comfortable padded two-point lap belt. Side pads can be added in a variety of sizes to better stabilize lateral motion and accommodate each users unique size and shape, cushioning and supporting the trunk.

Several base and footrest options support the lower body and enable versatile mobility of the chair frame. The chair base is available as a rocker/stabilizer, or ski design with casters depending on the childs needs and preferences. The rocker/stabilizer base offers versatility as either a soothing rocking chair base for children who need small movements to concentrate or calm down, or can be easily flipped for stable, stationary chair placement. Ski base with casters allows the chair to move smoothly along for more mobile utility with two standard front casters and two swivel-locking rear casters that can be easily locked in place for versatility. A high seat frame can also be selected to accommodate smaller children by converting the size 1 PAL seat into a high chair, raising them to eye-level with their peers for better engagement during meal time and similar activities.

Height adjustable legs and optional footrest offer improved lower body stability and positioning, while femoral support is assured with a depth-adjustable seat. Cushioned pommel can be added to help children maintain proper hip and leg alignment. A ramped cushion aids in proper spinal alignment and posture for users at risk for frequent slouching or forward motion.
