Oversized Shower Chair Commode

The Oversized Shower Chair Commode is a durable and multi-purpose chair designed to aid users who have limited mobility with transportation, showering, and going to the bathroom without the fear of slipping or falling. With a 28-inch wide seat, this chair is designed to fit patients of most sizes, even larger patients can be accommodated by this seat due to its 400 lbs. weight capacity.

This seat has an opening in the seat that attaches to a removable toileting pail which allows users to independently go to the bathroom if they can't make it to the toilet on their own or have trouble getting down to that level. The pail features a graded scale that measures the output of the user so that it can be ensured that they are having normal activity. The pail can also be removed to be washed, or removed for the chair being slid over a standard toilet so that the user can go to the bathroom regularly without the pail, even if they cannot sit as low as a standard toilet. The seat has a 19-inch clearance for fitting above standard toilets.

The seat also features a set of 5-inch casters on the bottom of the legs that allow for the user to move between rooms without dragging the seat along the floor. The casters can be locked in place once the seat is where the user desires, this allows for the seat to stay locked in place at a bedside overnight, during the day during standard use, or even while above a toilet or in the shower.
