The Aquatec Ocean VIP Tilt-in-Space Shower and Commode Chair offers a wide range of positioning possibilities designed to ensure the patient is comfortable and supported while also granting caregivers greater access to the patient for multiple hygiene routines. The seat is equipped with a keyhole-shaped cutout for use as either an over-toilet frame or as a bedside commode when used in conjunction with a collection pan; thanks to a stainless steel frame resistant to both rust and corrosion, the chair is also compatible with showering and bathing. All four of the chair's small casters swivel 360-degrees to ensure flexible maneuverability that can clear tight corners and easily navigate smaller bathrooms. Three of the casters are equipped with foot-operated locking mechanisms to ensure the chair remains safely immobile during use; the fourth caster has a directional lock to assist with pushing the chair down straight paths. Caregivers can direct the chair thanks to the simple push-bar attached to the backrest of the seat.

A wide range of components are adjustable to customize the chair to suit the individual. The soft, forgiving material of the backrest will conform to the patient's spine; it is both detachable and machine washable for added convenience. The included headrest is height adjustable and is gently curved to cradle the head and support the patient's neck. The seat can easily be raised and lowered without the use of tools. Both footrests are independently height adjustable, and both armrests can be set to two different height options. The armrests and footrests can also swing out of the way to grant easier access to the seat. Footrests are entirely detachable if desired.
