Post-Operation Finger and Wrist Orfitube Kit is a special unit designed to be mounted onto a hand splint, giving added adjustability and dynamic action. The dynamic outrigger portion of the orthosis consists of a custom fitted Oritube that contains elastic thread attached to a finger cuff. The outrigger is adjustable, as bio mechanical alignment may change over time.
Orifutube System Features:
The Orfitube is a polycarbonate tube that a braided elastic or extension spring is introduced, providing a spatial suspension point for the finger. No heat is required when bending the Orfitube. The tubes can be bent by hand with the bending rod inside of the tube. For best results, use a bender tool.

Ten 11 13/16" (30cm) long Orfitubes
Three spools of elastic thread in varying resistance levels
Two bending rods
Single Orfitude Adjuster Kit Includes :
1. Adjusting screw (stainless steel): Secures the position of the Orfitube in the adjusting ring.
2. Adjusting ring (Polyacetal): Holds and allows alterations of the Orfitube.
3. Fixation plate (Orfit): Fastens and stabilizes the adjuster to a splint.
Single Orfitube Adjuster
The Single Orfitube Adjuster puts you in full control of the longitudinal and lateral position of Orfitubes. The compact design lets you fix one individual adjuster for each finger. The adjusters are lightweight, very cost-effective, and more elegant than ever before.
Orfitube End Cap
This part is a nickel-coated brass cap with rounded edges to reduce friction of the elastic. The end caps help prevent fraying of the elastic thread as it glides past the cap end on the tube (sold separately).
Bending Rod
This synthetic rod is used to prevent kinks from arising when the Orfitube is shaped.
