The Rubber Band Anchoring Posts for Splinting are utilized for a variety of splinting applications. Easy to attach by punching a 1/8-inch-diameter hole into the splint which the post can then be screwed into, specifically tensioned rubber bands attach to the posts to provide varying levels of tautness. Often used in Kleiner splints, Brooke Army Hospital splints, and other modified splints, these rubber band posts are also helpful in creating low-profile splints. Theyre usually indicated in splints designed for pulling flexor tendons back to a resting position, and for healing flexor injuries post-surgery.

Often used in splints to help correct or heal flexor tendons, especially immediately following surgery, these posts are also used in low-profile splints and modified splints for daily flexion and extension correction, as well.
