More Information

The McKesson Reclining Wheelchair comes with detachable padded desk arms and standard mag wheels. This wheelchair is available in two seat width sizes and corresponding weight limits. The 18-inch wide seat has a weight limit of 300-pounds, while the 20-inch wide seat possesses a 350-pound weight capacity. The reclining wheelchair uses an intelligently designed hydraulic reclining system for a maximum reclining angle of 180-degrees. This allows the reclining wheelchair to be positioned completely flat like a mattress or gurney.

The wheelchair upholstery is crafted from comfortable nylon that is lightweight and breathable for your benefit. This prevents clothing from sticking to your back on a hot day to expand your world and remove restrictions. The armrests are completely removable to make transfers easier without any obstructions. Since the armrests are padded and desk length, the chair can be pushed up to a table for an inclusive environment. The armrests are padded to further promote comfort and all-day use.

The frame is constructed from carbon steel. This special steel material is treated with a silver vein finish that is easy to clean and makes the entire frame look more stylish. At the very bottom of the frame lie the urethane tires and 8-inch front caster wheels. The urethane tires are connected to composite wheels for a smooth, safe, and durable ride over nearly all terrains. The caster wheels allow for quick turns to be made. The back wheels are featured with rear anti-tippers that prevent toppling. This increases safety and promotes the longevity of your reclining wheelchair. Also, there are push-to-lock wheel breaks for increased handling security.

Additional clinical supports have been implemented into the design. The backrest is extended to include a headrest with a cushioned head immobilizer. The lower body supports feature swing-away foot and leg-rests. The metal footplates are fitted with padded calf supports and length adjustable riggings. The length adjustability does not require tools to control.
