The Lumex Tub-Guard Bathtub Safety Rails are designed to help individuals enter or exit their bathtub safely. A slippery bathtub floor surface greatly increases the risk of falling, especially for those who are recovering from an injury or surgery, the elderly, and those with weakened legs and balance problems. Even when mobility is not an issue, getting safely in and out of a slippery bathtub can be difficult! This bathtub safety rail can offer a steadying brace while stepping over a bathtub wall or when finished bathing. The rail also provides a handhold to grab onto when transitioning to a sitting position from within the bathtub.

The grab bars have a textured, contoured handle that provides a good gripping surface for the user and will support a user weighing up to 250-pounds. The safety rail does not need tools to be installed. The safety bar is secured with the clamp that holds it firmly to the bathtub wall without marring up the surface of the wall. It can fit bathtub walls 2½-inches to 6¼-inches thick, but is not recommended for fiberglass tubs. The safety rail can easily be removed and transported due to its compact and lightweight design, making it especially ideal for travel.
