Accessories for Leckey Mygo Seating System

These Accessories are designed specifically for the Leckey Mygo Seating System, offering a range of versatile support and positioning options that help adapt the chair to the unique needs of each individual user. Accessories are available in four colors and several sizes to ensure they match the size and color of your existing seating system.

Greater pelvic support can be added by purchasing the pelvic harness and brackets, pelvic harness spacer pads, pelvic cradle and hip guides, and/or the obliquity kit. The four-point pelvic harness is padded to ensure comfort, integrating hip guides to provide a secure, stable base of support. This harness can be easily adjusted to ensure a comfortable midline positioning. Spacer pads can be purchased to allow users who are too small for the smallest size of the pelvic harness to still enjoy its benefits. The innovative pelvic cradle features independent hip guides to wrap around the buttocks and posterior of the pelvis for optimal proximal positioning, especially for children with high tone. The obliquity kit can be added easily under the seat cushion to accommodate pelvic obliquity or to provide additional support under the ischial tuberosities or femurs.

Additional chest and trunk support can be added with a dynamic backrest kit and/or a trunk harness, as well as an additional shoulder support and chest harness. The dynamic backrest provides versatile and comfortable positioning support for upright and reclined positions and activities, while the trunk harness provides added side, front, and shoulder support in three sizes for user comfort. Shoulder support can be improved with the addition of the contoured shoulder support which can be angle-adjustable for better shoulder protraction to help balance the head and trunk over the pelvis. The chest harness helps to maintain an upright posture without inhibiting functional movement.

Lateral trunk and body support can be added with several models of laterals. Rigid laterals provide cushioned, upholstered side support for a safe and comfortable positioning. Flip-away laterals provide the same support with the added versatility of flipping out of the way for convenient transfers and a wider range of positioning options. Complex flip-away lateral supports feature independent angle, depth, and height adjustment to provide the user with greater thoracic support that helps maintain a stable, upright position.

Arm support and greater versatility can be added through cushioned, adjustable armrests as well as several trays. Cushioned armrests are height and angle adjustable to optimally support the elbows and forearms and can also be easily removed to enable smooth transfers. A plastic activity tray offers a versatile work surface and can be further adapted with the addition of a padded insert or grab rail/toy bar. The padded insert helps to reduce skin breakdown through comfortable cushioning, fitting easily within the lip of the tray. The grab rail/toy bar provides a convenient gripping surface and can also offer a mounting surface for toys to promote sensory play.

Additional lower body support can be added through the angled footplates, sandals, and/or knee pads. Angled foot plates can be easily adjusted to provide a comfortable customized support surface for the feet, flipping away conveniently to facilitate safe and easy transfers. Sandals offer greater stability with two positions at the front for toe straps to better accommodate a range of shoe sizes. Knee pads provide additional protection and comfort for the knees.

Contoured and flat headrests offer stability and comfort for the head and neck with a range of adjustments that allow them to be customized for optimal alignment. The flat headrest can be chosen either with or without laterals to provide versatile comfort and support for a variety of user needs.
