Both models of the IndeeLift are designed for straightforward use, enabling caregivers to provide vital assistance in as little time as possible.

For caregivers, these People Picker Uppers can reduce strain and stress. In turn, this decreases the chance of injury, fatigue, or burnout. They can make a beneficial addition to any home, hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility. The lifts are perfect for elderly, physically disabled, mobility-challenged, and injured patients. They are simple to operate and don't require complex harnesses or cradles. The lift has a ramped front that allows for easy slide-on access and a wired remote equipped with a retractable cord.

Can I use my insurance to pay for the IndeeLift? I have Aetna.

Answer: Currently, RehabMart does not accept private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid as payment options. What we can do is provide you with an itemized receipt after purchase, with which you can apply for reimbursement through your insurance provider. To determine which products are eligible for reimbursement, you'll need to speak with a representative of your insurance carrier before purchase.

Once a patient is seated and raised to a normal sitting position, can the unit be tilted onto the wheels to roll the device and patient to a chair for seating?

Answer: Unfortunately, this lift is not designed to move after lifting the patient. You can move it around using the wheels but not after lifting.

Will the wheels support the weight (150 lb.)?

Answer: This lift comes in two different models, the first which has a weight capacity of 300 lbs and the second one 400lbs.

How long are the belts?

Answer: They are 50 inches long

How will my unit ship and arrive?

Answer: All home models ship with FedEx Ground Service inside the Continental US.

Is the lifter able to bring the patient down to the floor again from the raised height (for whatever reason) ? Would the going down (with the patient weight on it) back to floor level be dangerous ?

Answer: The lifter can be used to lower patients to the floor as long as their legs are extended out. This unit has been used to lower patients to the floor for exercises.

Does it fold up for storage?

Answer: No, these lifts do not fold up for storage.

Is the lifting mechanism a worm drive?

Answer: The lifting mechanism is a lead screw system, not a worm drive.

What is the wired cord length?

Answer: The wired cord for each unit's remote measures 5 ft. long.
