FAQ For Hoyer Deluxe Transport Lift Sling

? Have a question about this product? Click here to ask us!
We were wondering if the sling is safe to perform transfers without any assistance from the patient?
Answer: This device requires that the patient have moderate to strong upper-body strength. This is because the sling wraps around their back and the two long straps provide slack between the patient and the lift while they're standing. For your review, I've attached an Instructions for Use PDF to this email, which provides a visual representation.

If your patient was unable to support themself, they could slip and fall from the sling as it doesn't offer support around the pelvis or legs. To prevent accident or injury, this sling should not be used with a patient who lacks moderate to strong upper-body strength.
