The Heron Dynamic Shower and Commode Chair allows caregivers to perform hygiene routines with mobility-limited individuals conveniently, comfortably, and safely. The stainless steel frame is mounted on swivel casters and features integrated push handles, making it easy to maneuver between rooms, to and from toilets and baths, and more with ease; each wheel is outfitted with a simple foot-activated lock to ensure the chair stays securely immobile for stationary activities. Both the backrest and frame are height-adjustable, making the chair compatible with bedside toileting with the help of the optional bedpan, over-toilet use with the included potty ring, and bathing when rolled into a shower or leaned back over a tub. Tilt-in-space capability assists with leaning back or reclining the user for things like hair washing without impeding the caregivers access; this can also serve to keep the user in a medically- or therapeutically-necessary position. The height-adjustable frame can also be used to position the chair at a more comfortable working height for the caregiver to reduce strain on their spine.

The padded seat is designed to provide postural support and reduce pressure on the tailbone, especially when seated for extended periods of time; the water-repellant upholstery is soft and prevents moisture absorption to in turn prevent the growth of bacteria.
