The Med4 Elite control unit combines the effectiveness of various treatment modalities to reduce pain, control swelling, encourage arterial blood flow, improve range of motion, and accelerate the bodys natural healing processes.

Dynamic cryotherapy offers deep-penetrating cold, promoting vasoconstriction and reducing blood flow to cut down on inflammation and swelling. The application of cold also decreases spasms and metabolic demands, and relieves pain. Controllable heat promotes vasodilation and increases circulation to the affected area, supporting improved lymphatic function and stimulating the healing process while reducing pain and stiffness. The unique water circulation unit actively cools or heats the affected body area by ensuring heat is swiftly moved away and the area is effectively cooled for better healing.

Rapid Contrast Therapy (RCT) increases blood flow by alternatively opening and constricting the vascular system without encouraging swelling. RCT also decreases nerve sensitivity, helping to reduce pain and discomfort while improving healing rate. The Med4 Elite is capable of an unprecedented <1 minute changeover rate for efficient, compact, and hygienic RCT application that is independent of gravity and requires no messy tubs.

Game Readys patented therapeutic technology also offers adjustable intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) to mimic natural muscle contractions, pumping edema away from the injury and encouraging healing blood flow. Compression also helps the therapeutic wraps to conform to the body for more complete surface contact and efficient temperature therapies. IPC has shown to be most effective when used with cryotherapy, but can easily be combined with any other therapy or used alone for slighter injuries.

Set Compression level for Heat to Low or None.

Set Compression level for Cold to Low, Medium-Low, Medium, High, or None.
