Elongated Seat Folding Steel Commode

The Folding Steel Commode by Drive Medical has a primary purpose of bringing you a sturdy and accessible bathroom alternative for when the toilet is just too far away. This assistive device is easy to clean, is comfortable, foldable, and durable. The commode pail has a maximum fluid capacity of 7.5-quarts (1.875-gallons). There is a secure lid/splash shield included as well as a lengthy carrying handle to distance yourself from the secured contents.

The unit is lightweight at 13-pounds despite being made of heavy-duty powder coated steel. The welded construction increases the longevity, make it more robust, and do not make it heavy. The armrests are fabricated out of soft plastic for comfort when standing or sitting. The rubber feet are non-slip and have grooves on them so they create a tighter grip on the floor. This prevents slipping even if the floor is already wet. The powder coating is scratch-proof and reinforces the steel underneath.

The entire commode is easy to fold shut and open. It folds flat for storage behind the toilet, in a closet, cabinet, or under a bed. The legs fold shut by unscrewing the locking collars and separating the frames. The legs will never go missing since they are connected with an elastic cord. The locking collars are fitted with finger grooves so you can confidently loosen and tighten it with limited hand strength.

There are 5 levels of height adjustment on each leg. The pail/commode can be removed and then the unit can be placed over an existing toilet. Then the frame can be used as an assistive handrail or elevated toilet seat frame.
