Features:
The CT800's console displays feedback during the workout and a summary of compiled information scrolls through after finishing. The main console area also features a fan and a water bottle holder to keep the user cool and hydrated. With the simple press of a button, the user can change the incline of the track, up to 15% and increase or decrease the speed. Grips allow for a quick monitor of heart rate that displays on the display console. Ten rows of dots show each level of workout when the treadmill is in manual mode.
By using the stainless steel sensor, the pulse window on the console will display the user's heartbeat in beats per minute. The heart rate can also be shown as a graphical representation as a percentage of the user's estimated maximum heart rate. After entering an age, the console can calculate the maximum heart rate and then display the information to show the percentage of estimated maximum heart rate the user is achieving.
The CT800 has five preset programs, a custom program, two heart rate control, a Gerkin protocol based fitness test and one manual program. After selecting a program, the user can then either customize the program with custom data or use the default settings.
An extra large running surface of 22" by 60" and 2 ply running belt with 3" oversized rollers combined with cushions help to give a larger space for running while absorbing shock, giving a smooth, quality run.
With a 4 horse power DC motor, dual fans to keep it cool, and an unmatched warranty, the CT800 is sure to fulfill all fitness goals with ensured longevity.
Programs:
Hill: Uses gradual progression from about 10% of maximum effort up to maximum effort and then back down.
Fat burn: Quick progression to maximum speed level. This workout challenges the ability to preserve energy output for a longer period of time.
Cardio: A quick progression to maximum speed. Then the speed fluctuates for heart rate elevation, then going into a cool down. This workout helps to build up heart muscles and increase blood circulation and lung capacity.
5K run: Lap track set to 5K distance. Speed and incline can be controlled through the exercise.
Interval: High levels of intensity followed by low intensity. Heart rate and oxygen levels will go up and down, helping the cardiovascular system use oxygen more efficiently.
Custom: User controlled customized program that can be saved for further use.
Gerkin protocol fitness test: A volume of oxygen test that will increase speed and elevation alternately until the user reaches 85% of the max heart rate.
Manual: manually control the workload and not the computer.
Heart rate: Two different programs that attempt to keep the user within three to five heart beats of a target heart rate percentage by automatically increasing or decreasing the speed level.
