The
Etac Swift Mobil-2 Shower Commode Chair is designed to assist a single caregiver with completing bathing and toileting routines with a patient with ease, safety, and confidence. The seat is height-adjustable which can be used to accommodate the patient's height, smooth transfers into and out of the chair, and bring the patient to a more comfortable working height for the caregiver during hygiene routines. Thick padding lines the seat for added comfort and is outfitted with a commode opening for more sanitary and less-stressful toileting. The backrest is made of soft material that can be adjusted via Velcro straps for more or less tension; this material won't stick uncomfortably to the skin when damp and is both completely detachable and quick-drying.
Two ergonomic foot supports provide a curved platform where patients can comfortably rest their feet and legs; both are outfitted with side covers to protect the heels against the swiveling casters. Both the footrests and armrests swing out of the way so patients can more easily get in and out of the chair. The lightweight construction is easy to transport with and without a patient between rooms as needed, while the swiveling casters ensure agile maneuverability that can clear tight corners.
