The E-Scope 7700 Clinical Electronic Stethoscope can amplify internal sounds such as hearing the heart, bowel, breath, Korotkoff or bruit sounds with a maximum amplitude or sound pressure level output of 120dB at 100Hz, approximately 30 times louder than a standard stethoscope. The lightweight, slimline design fits more comfortably around the user's neck, and features a pediatric diaphragm, a plastic adult diaphragm, a specialist stainless-steel adult diaphragm, pediatric bells, infant bells, and a choice of ear tips. The stainless-steel diaphragm produces a 50% greater sound sensitivity with a more comfortable feel allowing the user to use the split-finger technique.
Located on the head of the stethoscope is a fingertip control for the volume of sound levels as well as heart or breath sound filters to clearly hear the sounds within their frequency range. An automatic volume restart function remembers the last volume setting and a USB-style side output jack offers a second listener using headphones or for connecting computer cables for recording patient information in electronic medical records and telemedicine.
Designed to reduce the amplification of excess or unwanted outside room noise, the electronic stethoscope is battery operated with one AAA battery and has an automatic shut off to help conserve battery power.
