These helpful functions optimizes one's independence and freedom, allowing users to remain at home instead of having to enter assisted living or nursing facilities. This bed features sturdy handrails that provide assistance when getting into or out of bed. These handrails are padded for comfort and safety, directly preventing potential injury.

There are optional add-ons that may be purchased with this electric bed including a mattress that's specially crafted to pair with this bed frame and a protective, 5-sided waterproof mattress protector. How firm is this mattress?

Answer: The manufacturer states the mattress firmness is a 6.5 out of 10, where a 10 is a brick and a 1 is a water bed. Please keep in mind that firmness is relative, but that is their professional opinion that it is a 6.5/10

What is the clearance under the bed?

Answer: This has an 11" inch clearance.

I have an innerspring mattress that I want to use with my Envyy Bed. Will I be able to use it?

Answer: No, any spring mattress will not work with the bed.

If my power goes out will I be able to use the bed, or will I have to wait until the power turns back on in order to stand up?

Answer: This bed includes a battery backup to ensure that you can get up if the power does go out.

What size mattress do I need to use with the Envyy bed? Can it be any type of mattress or does this bed only work with certain mattress types?

Answer: The Envyy bed should be used with a Twin XL mattress. The mattress has to be foam and should not have any springs. The mattress should not be thicker than 7 inches. A mattress made for the Envyy Bed can also be included with your purchase.
