The Seca EMR Hospital Scale helps standardize clinical workflows. All Seca scales use the same user-interface. This ensures that healthcare professionals from various departments can understand and operate any Seca scale model immediately. This scale is EMR certified and is compatible with all reputable EMR systems.

The weighing process begins immediately with no wakeup time; there is not even an ON button to press. To begin, simply scan the patient's barcode and the measuring station will audibly instruct the patient how to proceed. LED footprints give the patient a visual guide to the correct foot placement.

There are six, high-precision ultrasonic sensors that detect the patient's precise height. The Voice Guidance feature directs the patient through the measurement process. The scale audibly reports the patient's weight and height for the nurse to document. This eliminates the need for close contact with the patient during this process.

The scale's surface can accommodate all patient types. It is low-profile, and its surface is made of break-resistant Bearclaw Glass. The surface is sealed, leaving no room for pathogens to invade and grow.

The intuitive interface on the Seca ID screen can be operated even if you are wearing gloves. The screen displays the patient's height, weight, BMI, and body surface area. Additionally, the screen can display the name of the patient and the nurse. This feature ensures that the recorded measurements are associated with the correct patient.
