More Information

High Tech Weight Indicator
A smartphone-style indicator is easy to read and use. There are 6 simple buttons and a bold LCD display for large readouts. This feature automatically locks on weight temporarily for a few seconds, making viewing and recording measurements possible. The weight and height will be displayed on the blue .75 inch high, clinical blue LCD screen at the same time. Each scale has a battery power level indication as well.

Versatile Connectivity
There are 2 RS232 serial ports and 1 micro USB-B port. Apex Eye-Level Digital Clinical Scales are HL7 IEEE 11073 compliant as a standard. This standard addresses the interoperability of medical devices, making it possible to exchange and evaluate data between different medical devices. Wi-Fi Ethernet models are available for wireless EMR/EHR. There are also models available that connect to Welch Allyn Vital Sign Devices.

Lift-Off Apex Platform Cover
This cover can be removed in order to wipe down the scale for cleaning or to replace the 12 AA batteries.

Structural Base Integrity
The base in manufactured for optional patient safety and stability.

Dual Integral Wheels
Transporting the Apex is easy with smooth-rolling wheels that are included standard on all Apex scales.

Easy Assembly
Apex Eye-Level Digital Clinical Scales assemble quickly, right out of the box in just a few easy steps. No tools are required.

Sonar Height Measuring Rods are optional and available with select models.
