A dolphin's body can change buoyancy by filling the lungs with air when flotation is needed and breathing out when they want to swim into the water's depths. Modeled after the dolphin's ability to change buoyancy, the Dolphin Float System can change buoyancy by adding or taking away the flotation pads. If swimmers are physically active and can control their heads and trunks, then the Dolphin Float System is an ideal device for them to use during aquatic therapy. It also features extra side pads, which help distribute weight evenly. This is especially helpful for those who tend to laterally rotate.The Dolphin Float System works especially well for those who have some experience swimming.

The Dolphin Float System is ideal for physically involved individuals who have head/trunk control, but may need to compensate for uneven weight.

Through the use of side pads, tendencies toward lateral rotation are minimized along with adding extra flotation.
Various positions can be achieved when using the side pads. A front chest pad gives even more lift and is also removable if needed. Finally, the lower Dolphin strap between the legs keeps it in place while swimming.

The Dolphin Float System is constructed of Ensolite® Marine Flotation Foam so that it does not sink or absorb water. Each piece of the Dolphin Float System is triple coated with a durable vinyl finish, in bright yellow, making them highly visible in the water. Rainbow polypropylene webbing and super tough nylon buckles (on certain products) resist chlorine and salt water corrosion. Various positions can be achieved when using the side pads. Front chest pad gives even more lift and is also removable if needed.
