Dolomite Alpha Advanced Walkers

The Dolomite Alpha Advanced Walkers provide forearm pads to offer support from the user's elbow to his wrist that allows a user with limited hand strength to easily propel the walker while walking.

The Dolomite Alpha walker offers a variety of adjustments of the angle, distance, and height for the forearm pads that will provide a more comfortable, customized fit to the user. The arm height will adjust over 9" and the rotation of the walkers arm will adjust 20 degrees.

Dual hand loop style hand brakes enable a secure hold and easy braking operation to the user with limited hand strength and the looped brakes handles can be turned vertical to provide the user the most comfortable position.

The Alpha Advanced model has a cushioned handle on a ball joint that allows braking to be easily accomplished by the user either pulling or pushing the handle, depending on the joint setting. An accessory one-handed braking system is also offered and can be installed to provide a more customized walker.

The flip-up seat is ideal to allow the user to walk with full strides while practicing gait training, and when it's time to rest, the seat can be flipped down, allowing the user to turn around to comfortably sit down and rest.

A welded steel frame construction safety features of the Dolomite walker has been redesigned wider and deeper to accommodate the higher center of gravity caused by the arm supports and a magnetic security latch that will prevent an accidental closure of the walker while accommodating a user weight capacity of 275-pounds.

The large 8" wheels will provide safe and smooth mobility over most indoor and outdoor surfaces and includes a curb climber located on the rear wheel to assist the user when lifting the front of the walker, and when not in use, the walker can be folded up to be stored out of the way or for easy transport in a vehicle.

The walker is available with optional accessories to enhance and customize the walker that will best benefit the user.

A tray to provide a platform for food or activities, and oxygen C or D size cylinder holder, a side-located cane or crutch holder, a Slow Down Brakes option to better control the standard brakes with one hand, and a large padded surface platform to replace the arm troughs that allows the user for something to lean on.
