When used as a transport chair, the rear handles and the backrest can be elevated up to 4-inches to accommodate your caregiver.

This device truly optimizes user comfort, as its back support height adjusts quickly and easily with the use of tool-free buttons. Large 10" front casters also lend an element of comfort; the casters enhance the device's turning radius, too, for easier maneuvering.
