The Portable Bariatric Wheelchair Scale has four stainless steel load cells with self-aligning feet, which help keep the weighing surface level. With its extra-wide weighing platform, the scale is built to accommodate even bariatric wheelchairs, and its 1,000-pound weight capacity enables weighing of all types of wheelchairs and patients.

Included guide handles and integral wheels enable easy vertical transport mode to roll the scale from room to room and store while taking up minimal space. Dual ramps on either side of the platform rest on the floor for easy maneuverability on and off the scale and traction-enhancing black rubber mats ensure the wheelchair won't slip during transfer and cause an injury. The low-profile design of the 2-inch high platform means the scale takes up minimal space in the room and is easily accessible to wheelchair-bound patients, maximizing convenience for facilities and patients alike.

The scale's indicator is connected to the platform by a coiled cable that extends up to 14 feet, allowing it to be positioned in the most convenient location for medical professionals to read its brightly lit LCD digits. The indicator displays clinically accurate weight and BMI readings and is wall-mountable using the included versatile bracket. The scale is powered using 6 C batteries (not included with purchase) or an optional AC adapter.

Each wheelchair scale has serial, USB, and optional Wi-Fi ethernet connectivity, and is EMR/EHR ready.
